PACA is seeking actors for Ripcord, a sharp, funny, and emotionally grounded comedy set in a senior living facility. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. No monologues required.
Auditions: January 10 and 11, 1–3 PM
Performances: March 12–21
Character Descriptions:
Abby (female, 60s–80s): lead role; fiercely independent, sharp-tongued, emotionally guarded, with dry humor masking deep loss.
Marilyn (female, 60s–80s): lead role; relentlessly warm and optimistic, emotionally perceptive, with quiet strength beneath the cheer.
Scotty (any gender, 30s–50s): supporting role; kind, practical facility staff, grounded and observant with natural humor.
Colleen (female, 30s–50s): supporting role; efficient, no-nonsense administrator, steady authority with dry wit.
Derek (male, 30s–50s): featured supporting role; easygoing ride-share driver, grounded and physical.
Benjamin (male, 40s–60s): featured supporting role; reserved widower, subtle and emotionally restrained.
