On October 31 at 7:30 PM, the Mayer Building opens for a late-night costume party that's part floor show, part mad-science lab, and entirely ours. Five floors, 127 years of creaky history, and a dance floor that has seen some things.Come as your favorite monster, a mad scientist, or whatever you'd wear if you lived in a drafty castle with a questionable laboratory. Lab coats, fishnets, red lips, and a little extra stitching are all encouraged. Bring a newspaper in case of rain.Jorge the magician will be performing live, and we're screening two cult musicals on the big screen. We can't tell you which ones. We can tell you that if you've ever stayed up past midnight for a movie, you already know. Expect a playlist worthy of a time warp, and let a theatre built in 1899 handle the atmosphere.Food and snacks are on us. Don't ask what's in the meatloaf. Drinks are BYOB, so bring your own bottle.Tickets are $20, paid in full. No organs, no payment plans, no repo men at the door.
