Auditions: The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?

Audition Notice:

PACA is holding open auditions for The Goat by Edward Albee on Saturday and Sunday, August 22 & 23 @ 2 PM.

The production will run October 9-24

Synopsis: On his 50th birthday, Martin, a world-famous architect, prepares for a recorded interview by an old friend in the TV business, but the interview uncovers a secret that threatens to turn celebration into tragedy in this Tony Award-winning drama. The Goat or, Who is Sylvia? is a hugely enjoyable parable that plumbs the deepest questions of social constraints on the individual expression of love.

Cast and characters

Stevie Gray: the wife of Martin who, until Sylvia, had been his one and only love
Martin Gray: a 50-year-old award-winning architect who falls in love with a goat
Billy Gray: Stevie and Martin's gay, emotionally sensitive, 17-year-old son
Ross Tuttle: a family friend and host of a television program
