The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?

Cast & crew bios from our October 2026 production of Edward Albee's play, directed by Mark Tanenbaum.

Jordan Gilmore

Martin

Is glad to be returning to the PACA stage in The Goat Or, Who Is Sylvia?  (Notes toward a definition of tragedy), after previous appearances here as Dave Caro in Between Riverside and Crazy, various roles in PACA Palooza, Henry in The Fantasticks, Zanth and other roles in Weird Romance, Scotty in Ripcord, Fipp and Tiny Tom in Urinetown and Martin and Vance in Bad Auditions by Bad Actors. Other prior roles Jordan has brought to life on stage include Father in Lake Erie Ballet Company's Nutcracker Reimagined, Jack Gable in Ken Ludwig's Leading Ladies, Dan Shapiro in Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey. Jordan is truly appreciative of this cast and crew, and extremely thankful for everyone who came out to see this darkly humorous and thought provoking show.

Megan Harrison

Stevie

Has returned to PACA, which means someone apparently forgot to revoke her backstage access. In "The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?", she gets to do what she loves most: perform, make questionable choices, and destroy things that were perfectly functional five minutes earlier. Megan is the owner of M. Harrison Photography and a longtime PACA creative, where she has mastered the delicate art of saying, “I have an idea,” immediately followed by a production-wide emergency. She thanks Jordan for his unwavering support and PACA for never asking enough follow-up questions.

Devin Chaney

Ross

A lifelong fan of the theater and is thrilled to be returning to the stage at PACA. Devin splits his time between acting, volunteering and working as a quality inspector. He would like to thank the cast, crew for the amazing work they put into each of these shows and his incredible friends and family for always supporting him.

Before there was a PACA, there was a kid from Erie who fell in love with the stage.

Mark Tanenbaum has been part of Erie’s arts scene since he first laced up his dance shoes with the Erie Civic Ballet Company. From there, he danced with the Chautauqua Dance Company, performed on every major stage in the market, and logged over 1,000 professional productions — including a long run with the comedy troupe In All Seriousness.

In 2010, he turned a historic 1899 building on State Street into something Erie had never seen: a true home for independent, progressive performing arts. PACA was born.

Since then, PACA has become more than a theater. It’s a gallery. A comedy club. A dance studio. A community. A place where Erie’s artists — from first-time performers to MFA graduates — have a stage to call their own.

In 2020, Preservation Erie recognized PACA with a Preservation Excellence Award for breathing new life into downtown. And in 2025, the curtain rose on PACA’s 100th production.

Mark is proof that one person’s vision — backed by grit, a deep love for this city, and more than a few curtain calls — can change a community.
